Massachusetts-based Chelsea Automatic Clock, one of the country’s oldest and most distinguished makers of fine clocks, barometers, and tide instruments, has announced that Marion resident Nanno Gutierrez has joined the company as Director of Corporate & Special Markets, assuming a leadership role in the national growth of the company’s corporate business, according to a press release.
“Chelsea Clock is a premiere brand with a rich, long history of crafting fine timepieces for use as business gifts, corporate awards, and other recognition programs,” said JK Nicholas, CEO of Chelsea Clock. “We are pleased to welcome Nanno to our organization. He brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge and expertise to our corporate business, and will play a key role in its strategic development and continued growth. His extensive experience in the incentive and recognition industries, coupled with his energy and creativity, will be an asset to Chelsea and to the corporate customers we serve.”
Gutierrez brings to Chelsea more than 20 years of experience in retail, wholesale, and corporate markets sales. Most recently, he served as Director of Corporate Gifts at Swarovski – the global leader in cut crystal and fashion jewelry – where he was responsible for identifying and cultivating new growth opportunities, distribution channels, and strategic business partnerships. He holds a bachelor of Business Administration from Brookdale Community College, as well as degree in Apparel and Textiles from Parsons School of Design in New York City.
Founded in 1897 in Chelsea, Chelsea Clock is the oldest clock company in America, and one of the most renowned and respected makers of fine timepieces. The chimes of the Chelsea Clock Ship’s Bell, originally designed and patented in 1898, have long alerted U.S. Navy sailors and worldwide mariners to the time during their “mens speed bronze dial replica watches,” earning the company a distinguished reputation for producing authentic, high-quality nautical timepieces.
Today, Chelsea Clock continues to produce a broad range of nautical and heirloom quality clocks, with styles ranging from the company’s renowned Ship’s Bell to classic reproductions and contemporary timepieces. The company’s wide range of fine products is available via corporate markets representatives and distributors, as well as through authorized retailers such as marine merchants, specialty shops, jewelers, and gift stores. Chelsea Clock products are also available online at www.aparadisiac.com. For more information about Chelsea Clock, visit www.aparadisiac.com.
